For students who can attend, the garden will be open every Thursday from 2-3pm.
Students can participate in a planned project. A caretaker must be present with each child at all times.
For students who can’t stay after school, there will be a variety of opportunities to be involved during

ASL & English Family Cooking Class
ASL & English Family Cooking Class! Join our very own DOE interpreter, Tavoria Kellam, for a special cooking class in ASL & English.
We will be making two recipes:
Sesame Baked Chicken (or Tofu!)
& Easy No-Bake Cookies

PICTURE DAY!
Do NOT wear green.
8th-grade grads will be photographed in graduation gown and hat.
A group "composite" photo will be available (created digitally after-the-fact)
Choose any background.

Wear your favorite color!
Teachers will take a photo of each student wearing their favorite color. Photos will be used to create a rainbow mural in a school hallway.

9:30am Storytime with Principal Dave
Principal Dave will be doing a reading on zoom of “The Dot.” Parents are welcome to join.
Thursday 5/27
Fun sock day!
They can be colorful, patterned, mismatched, etc.
(**Note this is also SCHOOL PICTURE DAY!!)

1:15pm ASL Handshape Battle
School-wide competition on Zoom. Parents are welcome to join.
