LICE RESOURCES FOR PARENTS

If head lice or nits (lice eggs) have been found on your child’s head,
you must treat your child before they return to school.

WHEN CAN MY CHILD GO TO SCHOOL?

–Students who have live head lice (bugs) are NOT allowed to go to school until they are lice-free.
–Students with only nits (eggs) ARE allowed to go to school (but they must still be treated).
–If you treat your child and do not see any live bugs, they may return to school immediately.
They do not have to stay home.
